IT'S TIME FOR TENNESSEANS TO TAKE ACTION ON
GLOBAL WARMING!
PLEASE COME, HAVE LUNCH, LEARN AND GET ACTIVE! WHAT: The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy (with Stephen Smith, Executive Director and Emily Saunders, Climate and Air Program Coordinator) is hosting our first global warming citizens interest group. We will discuss global warming issues, impacts and opportunities for Tennessee businesses and the environment, and what these issues mean for Tennessee citizens.
WHERE: Shoney's in Oak Ridge (204 S. Illinois Avenue) on August 4, 2005 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.
WHO: Our goal is to have a diverse group of scientists, academics, concerned citizens, business owners, activists, and others come together to unify our voice of concern that Tennessee political leadership needs to address the issue of global warming at both the state and federal level.
Please spread the word to anyone you think might be interested.
We're looking forward to meeting with everyone and engaging in a dynamic, solution-oriented conversation.
If you have questions about the group or to reply to the invitation, email Emily Saunders at emily@cleanenergy.org or call 637-6055 ext. 24.
We look forward to seeing you on August 4th!
