This is a joint outing sponsored by TCWP and TNPS for Frozen Head State Park. All are welcome. We will have an excellent opportunity to see spring wildflowers. The first mile (Interpretive Loop) is ideal for those with limited hiking capabilities; the trail is wide and flat. For those continuing, the next three miles (Judge Branch Trail) are steeper, with a stream crossing and rough rock steps, but still moderate.

We’ll meet at 10 a.m. Eastern time at the Frozen Head State Park Visitor Center parking area, 964 Flat Fork Rd, Wartburg, TN  (36.12491565416323, -84.50464400941911).

Bring water, a lunch, and bug spray.
