Volunteer Opportunities
Every volunteer is part of something bigger: a community working together to safeguard Tennessee’s natural treasures so they can be enjoyed today and preserved for tomorrow.
Every task, big or small, strengthens our ability to safeguard Tennessee’s wild lands and waters—discover where you can make a difference.

NEWSLETTER ASSEMBLY
Join a fun group of folks 6 times a year to assemble, label & figure out the math for bulk mail on the TCWP Newsletter! Lunch will be provided. Contact Nancy Manning if you are interested.

OFFICE AND DEVELOPMENT
Assist TCWP in our office or from home. We could use volunteers willing to learn to research and write grants, send emails to potential funders/donors/partners, assist with database management, organize files at office & many more tasks. If this kind of work feels like a good fit for you, please email Nancy Manning for more information.

PUBLIC OUTING LEADERS
Spend some time mentoring with one of our wildflower and plant experts, and then when you’re ready, lead an outing of your own on a topic that is exciting to you. If you are interested in becoming an outing leader, please email Nancy Manning for more information.

EXPLORE AND RESTORE
Science Nerds: If you have experience, education, or training in botany, zoology, hydrology, soil science or other relevant branches of science, please consider volunteering for this program delivered during four days at the end of the school year.
Cat herders: If you just want to help manage the kids and be part of their conservation enthusiasm, join us!
Please Email Nancy Manning if you’re interested in signing up for either of these opportunities.

STEWARDSHIP
Join our stewardship team to help care for Tennessee’s wild places. From removing invasive plants and maintaining trails to cleaning up rivers and streams, your efforts directly protect and restore the lands and waters we all enjoy. Please check out our events page for current opportunities.
