The Department of Energy has released a notice of document availability for an addendum to the Environmental assessment at the Horizon Center. The addendum removes natural area spaces between the three tracts of land that the Industrial Development Board has voted in favor to make available for purchase for a Motorsport park. Additionally, it broadens the future use of the space beyond that of industrial or office space. TCWP has concerns about the loss of these natural areas, the proposed use of the land, and the impact on the surrounding natural areas and community.
